FAQs
1. What exactly is The L Table?
The L Table is a community-centered dining experience for lesbians and queer women to connect through intentional conversation, good food, and shared space. We host curated events—usually at local restaurants—designed to move beyond small talk and help us build meaningful relationships.
2. Is The L Table a dating event?
Nope! The L Table isn’t focused on dating. While connections naturally happen, the goal is to build community—not couples. We welcome singles, partnered folks, and everyone in between. Come for the vibe, stay for the conversations.
3. Who can attend The L Table events?
The L Table is designed specifically for lesbians and queer women (cis and trans), as well as non-binary people who feel aligned with lesbian identity or community. Allies, men, and those outside the queer women’s experience are not part of our attendee base to ensure this remains a safe and affirming space.
4. How often are events, and how do I sign up?
We host events about once a month (sometimes more during special seasons like Pride). Follow us on Instagram [@theltableclt] or join our email list to stay updated. When events drop, you’ll be able to RSVP through the link provided—seats are limited, so we recommend acting fast!
5. What should I expect at a typical L Table event?
Expect warmth, real talk, and good energy. We usually gather at a local spot, share a meal, and guide the table through thoughtful prompts to spark meaningful dialogue. You don’t have to be extroverted or know anyone—just show up as you are. We’ve got the rest.
